FIFA 23 Web App & Companion App: FIFA Ultimate Team apps explained
Build your Ultimate Team wherever you are.
Now that FIFA 23 is out in the world, you'll want to stay on top of your FIFA Ultimate Team squad at all times. Thankfully, the FIFA 23 Web App and FIFA 23 Companion app allow you to do that wherever you are, just as long as you have an active internet connection.
The FIFA 23 Web App and FIFA 23 Companion App are available now, as hardened fans will already know, with EA releasing both of them before the actual game came out. If you're only downloading now, then, you may find that you have a bit of catching up to do.
Regardless, it's always fun to check in with your FIFA 23 FUT club, whether you're moving and shaking in the transfer market or simply admiring the work you've already done in building a roster of talent. So, for all the key details on the FIFA 23 Web App and FIFA 23 Companion App, read on!
When was the FIFA 23 Web App release date?
The FIFA 23 Web App was released on Wednesday 21st September 2022, and the FIFA 23 Companion App came out on Thursday 22nd September 2022, with both of them dropping in the early evening from a UK perspective.
Of course, this also signalled the end of the FIFA 22 apps with the FIFA 22 Web App going offline on Friday 16th September 2022. The FIFA 22 Companion App stayed online until Thursday 22nd September 2022, when it received an update for the FIFA 23 edition.
How do you get the FIFA 23 Web App?
The FUT Companion App is a free download for smart devices, and can be found on the Apple App Store and the Google Play Store.
The FUT Web App is simply a web browser version of the same app that can be accessed via PC, Mac or mobile. Now that it’s live, you should be able to find it on the FIFA website.

What does the FIFA 23 Web App do?
The FIFA 23 Web App and Companion App gives players access to the FUT 23 Transfer Market without having to boot up their console or PC version of the game. This allows you to buy and sell players and consumables, style your FUT stadium, build out squads and sign up for FUT events on the go.
Other features include Squad Building Challenges, the ability to claim rewards from weekly competitions and online squad sharing.
It's also the earliest way to access your FUT club, available for free even before the early access period for EA Play subscribers and Ultimate Edition pre-orders. That's all in the past now, of course, but it's still a nice perk to be aware of for next time.
